Week 29!

DSCF0565

How far along? 29 Weeks! (Only 11 more to go!!!)

Best moment this week: FINALLY going to see Safe House! While we were in there, Gideon was jumping like crazy! ♥ I guess the gun-fire and crashes were too loud for him. Also, seeing David crawl through the window because we didn’t have keys to the house was priceless.

Worst moment this week: I had to add this category this time. This morning I lost my wedding ring. I about flipped out! After about destroying the house and praying furiously, the Lord led me to the McDonald’s trash bag from last night, where my ring was at the bottom! TO BE THROWN AWAY! I’m glad I put the bag beside the trashcan, instead of inside. I think I might need to get a cheap ring to wear while I go through pregnancy brain…also, while my hands are swelling. PTL, though, He allowed me to find it (who would think to look through the McDonald’s bag by themselves???), and that it’s back on my finger.

Miss Anything?  Moving freely. Lol. I’m about ready for a bloody steak, too! Also, for my belly not to be itchy!

Movement:  Pretty much all the time. I’m very thankful that he does rest…some. ♥ He keeps pushing on my belly, too. Last night, in my sleep, I held my belly and rubbed it because I could feel him pushing against it. ♥

Food cravings: Back to fruit! And frozen tart yogurt with fruit and granola! YUM!

Belly Button in or out? Flat! Almost all sticking out.

Happy or Moody most of the time: It depends…My emotions are magnified 100x’s! So, if something makes me happy, I’m deliriously happy and can’t stop laughing. But if something upsets me or makes me sad, I cry. I’ve cried three times already this trimester. Coming from the girl who can go years (literally) without crying…that’s a whole bunch!!!

Hello Third Trimester!

Gideon is about 15 inches, and weighs between 2 and 2.5 lbs.♥

How far along?
28 Weeks! (Or 7 whole months!!!)

Best moment this week: Valentine’s day! I got not one, but TWO dates with my hubby! Plus, he got me lotion and pink sweatpants! (Be still my heart!) And I got my first “Mommy” card from him and Gideon. ♥

Miss Anything?  Energy! I hit the third Trimester wall, it seems! When I worked out yesterday, I thought, “I know I worked out last week, not last month!”

Movement:  All the time! He mainly stays as high as he can under my ribs, and he’s started rolling under there. Not the most comfortable thing in the world! LOL.

Food cravings: Since I found out I gained 10 pounds last month, I haven’t really craved anything!

Belly Button in or out? Still the same…half and half

Happy or Moody most of the time: This week, I have been pretty moody…well, twice this week. Saturday and Tuesday. Both days, I struggled with my image and the weight I’ve gained. Saturday, I was trying to make something for Valentine’s Day. When I made it the first time, it was too tight! When I fixed it, it fit, but it looked like a tent! David liked it, but I did not feel attractive at all! After I spent a couple of days re-cooping from the low self-image, I go to the dr’s office Tuesday. I knew I had gained a lot last month, but I wasn’t prepared for the doctor to make a big deal about it. But I do want a healthy pregnancy (and, let’s face it, fast food every day for a month is not exactly healthy!) And I want a healthy baby. So I’ve started cooking again, and I’ve started eating right. Not so many carbs (my weakness!) and more fruits and veggies. We’ll see how this goes.

Goodbye Second Trimester!

Gideon is about 14.5 inches, and weighs about 2 lbs.♥ My-Photography-Love-of-Basketball-photography-14640944-1804-1250
This is the last week of the second trimester! According to whattoexpect.com, my uterus is now the size of a basketball.  I played sports through high school and absolutely love basketball, so I can fully appreciate the magnitude of this feat…speaking of feet, my son has decided to cuddle up under my ribcage while I’m at work. Cute when you think about it, but not so much when he’s squishing me or kicking under my ribs. Ouch!

How far along? 27 Weeks!

Maternity clothes? Yes, Please! Still loving my jeans from Motherhood, and my skirt from Amber’s closet. ☺ I also really enjoy the free-flowing, long skirts I wore pre-pregnancy. I’m so thankful for this warm weather were I can enjoy spring-time clothes! Oh, and if you haven’t seen the maternity dress I made, check it out!

Best moment this week: Feeling Gideon have the hiccups. So neat!

Miss Anything?  My leg not being numb, and my ribs not cramping. Other than that, I truly love being pregnant!

Movement: Lots, still. When he kicks, I feel my whole belly moving! And I love the hiccups! ♥

Food cravings: Last night was my first in a while. Tart Yogurt! My hubby was nice enough to stop by a frozen yogurt shop on our way to get Star Wars #2. (Not that good, in my opinion…to much mushy stuff…not enough light sabers!) <—Can you tell I’m going to love being a mommy to a little boy??!!!♥

Belly Button in or out? Almost all the way out! (Half and half!)

Happy or Moody most of the time: Mostly happy…unless I am hungry, or tired, or achy, or…HAHA!

Sometimes I just have to remind myself…

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
Philippians 4:8

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
Galatians 5:22-23
